We have all seen the YouTube videos proving (without doubt) that Cannabis can be beneficial to people that suffer from certain illnesses and conditions. The video are numerous adults and children that suffer from conditions like epilepsy, seizures and fits regularly appear in these videos and many swear by the results that Cannabis has produced as treatment. So why are the British government denying Alfie Dingley, from Kenilworth, Warwickshire a license that would exempt Alfie Dingley from the ridiculous and harsh Cannabis laws that the government have created? Who the fuck are they to decide what is best for anybody? Its not like they even give a single fuck about facts or people.

The government has refused to issue a licence for a six-year-old boy with a rare form of epilepsy to be treated with cannabis oil, despite evidence that it has eased his symptoms and support from MPs.

Alfie Dingley, from Kenilworth, Warwickshire, can suffer up to 30 seizures a day. His mother said they had decreased dramatically in number and severity while he was in the Netherlands being treated with a prescribed, cannabis-based medication.

Members of the all-party parliamentary group for drug policy reform urged the Home Office to allow him to use it.

However, the Home Office has ruled out it being prescribed in the UK. The drug, a statement said, “cannot be practically prescribed, administered or supplied to the public”.

“We recognise that people with chronic pain and debilitating illnesses are looking to alleviate their symptoms,” a statement said.

“However, it is important that medicines are thoroughly tested to ensure they meet rigorous standards before being placed on the market, so that doctors and patients are assured of their efficacy, quality and safety.

“Cannabis is listed as a schedule 1 drug, as in its raw form it is not recognised in the UK as having any medicinal benefit and is therefore subject to strict control restrictions.”

FUCKING DRONES REPEATING BULLSHIT.

The war on (non-corporate) Drugs is being lost, the laws are dated and border-lining fascism and examples like this expose the problem the war on drugs (in other words the war on freedom) is creating.

Cannabis would be legal if it was not so easy to grow. If corporations could control the Cannabis market the way they control the alcohol and pharmaceutical markets they would. They hate the idea of people growing little money trees in their houses like the way they hate the idea of (non-corporate) Colombians and other South American individuals making stacks of cash from our obsession with Cocaine.

The war on drugs is about control and in most cases the people that suffer the most due to these unfair laws are the citizens that are forced to live by them and harshly punished when they use their own free will.
