Internet censorship has undoubtedly been stepped up this year as it has every year for at least the last ten years. They are slowly taking our freedom in the name of our security. Benjamin Franklin once said “Those who surrender freedom for security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one” and yet the attacks on our freedom continue.

The government claim to be at war with online extremism but who are they after? They’re after us. It’s the people of their own nations they are trying to silence not ISIS, ISIL, Islamic Fundamentalists or the Taliban. This war on “terrorism and extremism” is quickly being turned in to a war on peoples freedom.

Bloggers, Vloggers, YouTubers and political Facebook pages are being highly monitored and censored. In most cases the people being attacked are not extremists, terrorists or even that controversial they are just political aware.

Somebody has obviously decided that the Internet is no place for the truth in fact they would be much happier if you would just carry on reading the propaganda printed by the mainstream media instead, if you please.

I believe in freedom for the papers, I say let them do and print whatever they want, if they want to print government approved propaganda then so be it. I also believe in freedom for the people let them talk and be heard and let them tell the truth without being interrupted, censored, oppressed and attacked for it.

The government, Google and Facebook definitely do not respond well to criticism and seem to have a genuine hate for democracy and your freedoms. I would like to bet mainstream media faces not such oppression when they spread their government approved and backed hatred.

The mainstream media consists of carefully selected and conditioned people. They have to be conditioned to the point of believing the shit they print or even worse for just not caring.

The governments have lost the argument so bad that all they are left with is removing it. People like me that have spent years spreading this are now silenced, you will find us if you look but the mainstream will not anymore. But they can’t silence us all.

The Internet is cracking down on free speech.

I have noticed some pretty crazy shit lately on the Internet. Facebook removing posts because “they look like spam,” video files that I was distributing as free downloads have been removed from my website, this week I have lost about 20 subscribers on YouTube and even a whole post was removed from my website. WTF is going on? It seems to me that the government or somebody is blatantly and desperately manipulating the Internet and the truthers is who they are after. They have lost the argument so now they will silence it.

YouTube are literally silencing me as at least eight of my old videos that have been on YouTube for years undisturbed have this year been muted due to a copyright claim on the background music. Even music that is in the public domain and in one case was literally hundreds of years old (George Handel) has lead to Sony and WMG claiming ownership of the music and therefore my whole video.

They first chose to profit from it and then simply remove it after all they can’t be seen profiting from “extremism.” I think the Internet is in desperate need for a decentralized video platform that uses blockchain technology. Google seem desperate to destroy an idea with YouTube and Youtubers that have dedicated years of their lives to their work are being driven away (intentionally.) The trouble is for them (me included) is we don’t really have anywhere to go and when we find something that looks like it could be promising (TruTube, Blip TV, Megavideo, Videoweed, Dailymotion) they either turn out to be shit or stop working.

They are literally attacking us from all angles in an attempt to financially starve the truth.

MOST TRUTHERS ARE FULL OF BULLSHIT!

In 2007 when YouTube was young and Charlie bit my finger was new there was a massive influx of conspiracy theory videos on YouTube, at the time much of these were based on the 911 attacks claiming an inside job and lets be honest some of the facts pointed out were interesting to say the least. America funded Al-Qaeda like they funded ISIS, we create the terrorists and then invade nations to fight them, making a good profit as we do it. As the years went by conspiracy theory videos evolved, by 201o/2011 many conspiracy videos were now focusing on the elite, hierarchies or the “Illuminati.” It was an interesting time, the “truth movement” was moving fast and the establishment were terrified. Fast Forward a few years to 2016 and the truth movement has slowed drastically in my opinion, its not that there is no information on YouTube its just that most of the information is questionable, pointless, manipulated and sometimes just blatant lies.

What is worse is they mix the truth in with these lies and due to this the lies sound believable, I sometimes have a listen to truthers like; The Vigilant Christian, Mark Dice and Alex Jones and much of what they say is right and I agree with 100% but sometimes its what they don’t tell us that gives them away. Mark Dice for example, I liked him and watched him regularly at one time and even now he exposes some real issues and peoples stupidity and ignorance very well, but he completely fails to point out the stupidity of the corporate media. He blames the people and he is within his right to blame the people, people are stupid, ignorant and easily manipulated, but he fails to point out that they are made stupid, ignorant and manipulated by the corporate media that promotes Mark Dice.

I also liked the Vigilant Christian at one stage, I liked his respectful way of telling people his information and ideas, but the more I listen to him and learn about him the less seriously I can take him. He claims YouTube are attacking him, censoring him and all sorts yet he admits he has made good money from YouTube (I have made nothing at all from YouTube.) I am not attacking TheVigilantChristian or Mario for being a success and I am not saying that everything he says is BULLSHIT but I believe he is either a very misguided individual or a very dangerous meat puppet. For example Mario claims that the Sinners Prayer is a Satanic Deception! Obviously the prayer is not biblical and simply saying a prayer and expecting forgiveness will NOT work, but sometimes just saying the prayer is repenting if you mean it, and Jesus tells us to repent so I very much doubt it is Satanic.

THE INTERNET VS FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

Truthers, Bloggers, Freethinkers, conspiracy theorists, non corporate backed video makers and even alternative musicians are being silenced by online corporations such as Facebook and Google. Media corporations have lost the faith of anybody that knows anything about the way the world actually works and this has led to a huge leap in non corporate, alternative media. The government and corporate media have pondered for many years in search of a plan to stop the spread of the alternative media, their answer seems to be a simple one!

Employ full blown censorship of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and many other popular social media sites, Stalin Style.

Google use copyright law as an excuse to remove videos, they ignore the fair use law, which reads;

Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 17 U.S.C. § 106 and 17 U.S.C. § 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright. In determining whether the use made of a work in any particular case is a fair use the factors to be considered shall include:

the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;
the nature of the copyrighted work;
the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and
the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.

The fact that a work is unpublished shall not itself bar a finding of fair use if such finding is made upon consideration of all the above factors.

Google have refused to pay anything to me based on false claims, I know I am not the only one as I have read and listened to many people with similar complaints. Is this part the plan to silence anybody that speaks against the establishment? Not paying bloggers and non corporate video makers along with censorship of social media is soon going to put an end to much of the alternative media, I believe that is probably part of the plan.
