ADELE

What am I doing right now?

The answer is listening to Adele!

Why would I be listening to Adele?

I am trying to understand what this huge obsession is that so many people seem to have about Adele, “Hello” has recently hit half a billion hits on YouTube. I know modern day music is shit and Adele is undoubtedly less shit than most but I don’t think she is anything special! In fact I think she is overrated and her being so overrated is mainly due to the poor quality of corporate music, after listening to shit like Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj anything that is not corporate pop shit, sounds amazing even if it is just corporate middle of the road shit.

I have never rated Adele, I’m not saying she is shit I’m just saying she ain’t as good as everyone seems to think she is. I find her music boring, soft, whiny, depressing and full of self pity, I much prefer to listen to something a little more motivational. I admit she is better than the bad bunch we have at the moment but she ain’t brilliant. All I see is a miserable fat girl singing average, middle of the road songs about being a miserable fat girl!

Call me old fashioned if like but give me Guns n Roses, Johnny Cash, Rage against the machine or the Prodigy any day and turn this self pitying shit off.

WE STAND SHOULDER TO SHOULDER AGAINST TERRORISM!

The Paris terrorist attacks on the evening of 13th November 2015 are tragic and as usual the innocent pay, 129 people lost their lives in this viscous attack. Many people in France, USA, Germany, UK and throughout Europe are claiming to stand shoulder to shoulder against such attacks and this is good news. I believe that terrorism and violence is never the answer and if we the people really want to stand shoulder to shoulder against terrorism we should stand shoulder to shoulder against all terrorism. Whether it be terror orchestrated by Israel, USA, UK, NATO or the United Nations, when reading news reports on this attack I cannot help but notice the scaremongering and hate spreading tactics the media are using. The media present terrorism as a problem that is exclusive to Islam but the facts and the stats clearly show that is not the case.

iran-3

all_war_is_terrorism_car_magnet_10_x_3

All war is terrorism so why do the people not stand shoulder to shoulder with the victims of terrorism in Palestine or in Iraq after our armies murdered over one million people in Iraq according to some reports? Or Libya? The media (even the Guardian so called left wing media) completely dismiss the possibility that a poor and overly aggressive foreign policy is the main cause of terrorism, how can they be so certain of this? At times like this it is important that people do not let the propaganda filled mainstream media influence the way we think. The attackers should obviously be treated the same as any murderers are treated but we should not hold the whole of the Islamic world responsible for the actions of a few.

I fear this attack could be used to fight more unjust wars and as a method to take a little more freedom and power from the people. Political censorship of the internet is already destroying freedom of speech and freedom of expression, it removes one side of the story and leaves the people in the dark reading war mongering propaganda. When the people are reading this war mongering corporate propaganda they believe they are well informed but in fact they are not and when the public are not well informed on current foreign affairs, they cannot make well informed decisions. If we let our media guild us they will guild us straight in to another meaningless war that will kill innocent people, cost a fortune and still fail to prevent terrorism in fact it would feed terrorism!

The problem I see is our (Western) governments have been fighting and backing wars and terrorism for many years now but as soon as an attack comes back; they suddenly become outraged by terrorism and violence despite the fact terrorism, violence and exploitation has been much of their own foreign policy.

2015 GENERAL ELECTION + BRITISH DEMOCRACY = FARCE.

In my opinion (and I followed the election fairly intensely on the internet and the T.V) propaganda and fear was a large part of the reason Labour lost, but Ed Miliband made huge mistakes. Ed Miliband is now spoken about like he was some left wing, weak leader despite the fact that at the start of the campaign he was not much more to the left than the Conservatives. As the campaign went on he started to move to the left probably in order to win votes with the anti Tory majority, but the anti Tory majority still remember Tony Blair and his oil wars, they do not look at Labour as the left wing saviors of the people instead they look at Labour as the Red Tories. “You can not win when you are as left wing as Miliband” so called political experts are claiming, they are wrong and in a way this election has proved them wrong, how?

The Scottish National Party taken nearly every seat in Scotland and they were at least at the start of the campaign much more to the left than Labour, but the Scottish National Party have an advantage, people in Scotland trust them and obviously feel represented by them. After the war in Iraq, the bank bail out and the Labour parties failure to represent “the left wing or the poor” in the past, the masses in England still feel that Labour are not a real alternative to the Conservatives. I am not saying they are exactly the same but when in power Labour were not that different. Labour also turned a blind eye to corporate tax evasion and made deals with news corporation. Having said that I still cannot believe the Tories won, which got me reading and it turns out that 1992 election was very similar, a “late surge of Tory support undetected by the polls” led to a Conservative majority as Wikipedia describes;

 United Kingdom general election, 1992

Polling

Almost every poll leading up to polling day predicted either a hung parliament, with Labour the largest party or a small Labour majority of around 19 to 23. Polls on the last few days before the country voted predicted a very slim Labour majority.

With opinion polls at the end of the campaign showing Labour and the Conservatives neck and neck, the actual election result was a surprise to many in the media and in polling organisations. The apparent failure of the opinion polls to come close to predicting the actual result led to an inquiry by the Market Research Society. Following the election, most opinion polling companies changed their methodology in the belief that a ‘Shy Tory Factor‘ affected the polling.

THE 2015 ISRAELI ELECTION also saw right winged Likud party win after a “late surge in support”

Opposition leader Isaac Herzog concedes election after prime minister recovers from low poll numbers in runup to vote to lead his Likud party to 30 seats in Knesset

Israeli Likud Party supporters react to the exit polls while they wait for the announcement of the first official results of Israel’s parliamentary elections.

Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s rightwing Likud party has scored a dramatic election victory, surging past its main rival – the centre-left Zionist Union – to win the most seats in the Knesset.

A series of exit polls released at the close of voting on Tuesday night had suggested the Zionist Union and its leader, Isaac Herzog, were neck and neck with Netanyahu.

But by Wednesday morning official results had stretched to a decisive five-seat lead for Likud, making it almost certain that Netanyahu would serve a third consecutive term as prime minister.

Herzog said he had spoken with Netanyahu to congratulate him on his election victory. “A few minutes ago I spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and congratulated him on his achievement and wished him luck,” Herzog told reporters.

He said his leftist Zionist Union party would continue to be an alternative to Netanyahu’s rightwing Likud.

Netanyahu will still have to assemble a coalition government but his seat count means he will be in a far more commanding position as he seeks partners.

A van containing more than 200,000 ballot papers destined for polls in East Sussex has been stolen. The papers had been printed in London and were being taken to two constituencies – Hastings and Rye and Eastbourne – ahead of voting in the general election on 7 May. Metropolitan Police officers alerted both Hastings and Eastbourne councils about the theft in London overnight. Officers found nothing to suggest the van was targeted for its contents. Police told the local authorities they believed it was a coincidence the stolen van contained ballot papers. The theft is still being investigated.

The ballot papers had been printed in London and were heading for Hastings and Rye and Eastbourne – ahead of voting in the general election on 7 May. Police said it was believed the van was parked in Longbridge Road, Dagenham, at about 19:30. The theft was discovered at about 06:25.

Ukip supporters are convinced Nigel Farage’s defeat is a conspiracy

Less than 48 hours after its leader conceded defeat, Ukip supporters have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration at their failure to capture the South Thanet seat – by declaring it was all a set-up.

Angry kippers have used the hashtag #Thanetrigged to accuse the establishment of all sorts of electoral shenanigans to get Nigel Farage out – citing the unusually long time for the votes to be counted and their success in the local elections as evidence.

Farage lost by 2,812 votes to the Conservative candidate Craig Macinklay despite the party gaining a 13 per cent vote share across the country.

But despite this failure Ukip gained overall control of Thanet council in the local election results on Friday – its first in the country.

They have jumped on a tweet sent by Spectator columnist Isabel Hardman tweeted at 12:30am on election night that Farage may have lost, six hours before the votes were counted, as “proof” the result was a foregone conclusion.

Demanding to know why ballot papers were allegedly “missing” for seven hours, Ukip voters vowed to expose the conspiracy and called for a by-election on social media.

This prompted a brilliant response from Twitter users, including Hardman herself:

The conspiracy comes despite claims from the man himself that he had lost the poll.

Speaking to Kent Online on Friday he said: “I knew the result yesterday [Thursday]. I could see the wards in Broadstairs were 80% turnouts and people queuing to vote. I spoke to people and they were saying ‘look Nigel, we love you but we can’t have Nicola Sturgeon running the country.’”

But who knows? Maybe they were just Conservative hired shills disguised as Thanet voters.

The truth is out there.

Concerns over ballot rigging after last-minute flood of postal votes

A last-minute deluge of postal votes allegedly sparked concerns about ballot rigging at Milton Keynes Council.

Instead of the anticipated four or five ballot boxes, 18 brimming boxes containing more than 4,600 votes turned up at the council offices yesterday.

Today election organisers insisted nothing seemed amiss – and blamed postal delays caused by the bank holiday.

They are, however, awaiting with interest to see how many more posted votes arrive before the 10pm deadline today, say sources.
The Wednesday deluge was so unexpected that an email was sent to council staff asking for help in counting the votes. Many volunteers worked well into the night.

A source said: “There was certainly concern and suspicion at one stage. This was more than four times the expected number of papers arriving in one day, and it did not fit in with previous trends.”

Other sources claim helpers were told to check all papers meticulously by hand to check they were genuine.

Other signs of postal vote fraud could include larger than expected numbers of papers returned from one ward or constituency.

Scrap postal votes or elections will be fixed, says judge who warns ballot-rigging is now a ‘probability’ in parts of Britain

  • Judge Richard Marvey, who presides over electoral fraud, made warning
  • He said introducing ‘on demand’ postal voting did not boost turnout
  • But it has opened the electoral system to fraud on ‘an industrial scale’

Fresh voting fraud in scandal-hit borough of Tower Hamlets

Postal ballot papers for Thursday’s general election have been sent out to a block of flats in Tower Hamlets which has been a building site for months

A new outbreak of voting fraud is underway this week in the London borough whose elected mayor was dismissed by a High Court judge for corruption and vote-rigging.

Postal ballot papers for Thursday’s general election have been sent out to a block of flats in Tower Hamlets which has been a building site for months, council records seen by the Telegraph confirm.

The property – owned by Tower Hamlets council – is completely boarded up, surrounded by hoardings and without any sign of habitation. However, letters can still be delivered there. None of the people who supposedly applied for the votes lives at the property and at least one is dead.

More than 200,000 UK ballot papers stolen by van thieves

Vehicle containing blank election ballot papers destined for polls in Eastbourne as well as Hastings and Rye has been stolen in London, say police

A van carrying more than 200,000 ballot papers for next week’s parliamentary and council elections has been stolen.

The papers had been printed in London and were being taken to two constituencies – Hastings and Rye, and Eastbourne – before voting in the general election on 7 May.

The Metropolitan police, which are investigating the theft of the vehicle from Dagenham in east London, has informed Hastings and Eastbourne councils.

Officers found nothing to suggest the white Mercedes van had been targeted for its contents or that the theft was an attempt at electoral fraud. They told the local authorities they believed it was a coincidence the stolen van contained ballot papers. The theft took place overnight.

The vehicle contained 72,300 voting slips for Hastings and Rye, and 130,000 for Eastbourne. A Hastings council spokesman said: “We have been in touch with the Electoral Commission and, following their guidance, we have put a process in place which will ensure that these ballot papers are not used for fraudulent purposes and cannot be included in the count.”

George Galloway to mount legal challenge over election defeat

Former Respect MP announces he has begun legal proceedings to have result of Bradford West election set aside.

George Galloway has said that he has begun legal proceedings to overturn the election result in Bradford West, after he lost by more than 11,000 votes to the Labour candidate, Naz Shah.

Labour called the former Respect MP “pathetic” after he said he was hoping to get Shah debarred as an MP. Galloway accused her of lying about him on Urdu television and of falsely claiming to have been forced into marriage at 15.

Galloway also claims to have uncovered “widespread malpractice” in the battle for Bradford West, including postal voting fraud.

The Bradford West contest was dogged by claims and counter-claims between Labour and Respect over a number of issues, especially relating to Shah’s family background.

Shah – who won the seat on a 29.7% swing from Respect, polling 19,977 votes to Galloway’s 8,557 – has vowed to sue Galloway for calling the circumstances of her marriage into question.

Announcing his legal bid to overturn the election result, Galloway said: “It has come to my notice that there has been widespread malpractice in this election, particularly over postal voting. We are in the process of compiling the information which will form part of our petition to have the result set aside.”

Galloway has also added to a previous complaint he had made under section 106 of the Representation of the People Act 1983, which concerns false statements made with the intention of affecting the result of an election.
“An allegation made by Naz Shah in Urdu on a well-watched Asian TV show is both untrue and extremely serious,” he said.

Conceding defeat in the early hours of Friday morning, Galloway said: “I don’t begrudge the Labour members here their moment of celebration, of course.

“But there will be others who are already celebrating: the venal, the vile, the racists and the Zionists will all be celebrating. The hyena can bounce on the lion’s grave but it can never be a lion and in any case, I’m not in my grave. As a matter of fact, I’m going off now to plan the next campaign.”

West Yorkshire accounts for nearly half of claims of ‘ghost’ voters, false statements and multiple votes being investigated
Police across the UK have been asked to investigate more than 50 allegations of electoral fraud related to Thursday’s elections in areas previously identified as vulnerable to vote-rigging, new figures show.Officers in Manchester, Bradford, London and Birmingham have begun inquiries after receiving complaints about “ghost” voters, false statements by candidates and multiple attempts to vote by a single person. The inquiries have emerged after the Guardian contacted police forces covering 16 areas that the elections watchdog has identified as being vulnerable to electoral fraud, particularly around the use of postal votes.

As well as Birmingham and Bradford, they include Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Calderdale, Coventry, Derby, Hyndburn, Kirklees, Oldham, Pendle, Peterborough, Slough, Tower Hamlets, Walsall and Woking.

West Yorkshire police, whose officers serve Bradford where former councillors have been imprisoned for electoral fraud, said they had received 21 allegations of electoral irregularities.

DI Ian Lawrie, of protective services (crime), said: “We have currently had 21 allegations that have been recorded for further investigation for election-related incidents. These include a number of matters under the Representation of the People Act 1983.”

On Thursday, there were 14 investigations across Greater London, according to a Metropolitan police spokesman. These included the arrest of two prospective councillors in Tower Hamlets, east London, and Enfield, north London, for false declarations on election papers. Police have also been asked to investigate allegations of intimidation and tampering with postal votes in the east London borough.

West Midlands police, which oversees parts of Birmingham and Walsall, said that they had received 11 allegations of electoral fraud.

In Greater Manchester, police have launched five inquiries – three inquiries into the eligibility of candidates to stand in the elections, one into a claim that a person had voted twice and another into claims of a false statement on an election leaflet, a spokesman said.

Ukip have sought to exploit electoral fraud allegations in Oldham, which is overseen by Greater Manchester police, by lampooning postal vote fraud in an election leaflet. The document, distributed by a former Labour councillor, claimed that it was easy for certain councillors to win because they can count on “the white folk not voting”.

A spokesman for Lancashire police, which covers towns including Burnley, Darwen and Hyndburn, where there have been previous allegations of fraud, said they would only release information about electoral fraud if an application was made under the Freedom of Information Act – a process that can take weeks.

Thames Valley police said they had received eight allegations of minor misconduct relating to issues such as printing irregularities, four of which have been resolved, but had not received any claims of electoral fraud.

Surrey, Derbyshire and Cambridgeshire police have not yet released any figures.

An Electoral Commission report in January identified the 16 boroughs and cities as vulnerable to electoral fraud and called for increased police involvement in elections.

At one point the commission considered dropping postal voting in these areas to combat fraud. But, following a public consultation, it decided this would unfairly hit many ordinary people who needed to vote by post.

Instead, it has urged the police to patrol polling stations during elections in the 16 named areas and dedicate more resources to investigating electoral-fraud allegations, which critics complain have been a low priority for the police.

Polling ‘scandal’ affects thousands – despite Hackney Council denying problems last week

12:45 06 May 2015

Hackney Town Hall, of Mare Street.

Hackney Town Hall, of Mare Street.

Hackney Council has been forced to admit there has been a problem issuing thousands of voters with ballot papers – many of whom may have lost out on their chance to vote tomorrow.

Town Hall last week categorically denied there was a backlog in issuing postal vote papers when the Gazette reported how a student had lost her vote because it failed to arrive before she travelled abroad, despite applying two months earlier.

But after more complaints flooded in, the council admitted on Friday that as many as 3,000 people were affected by a delay in sending out their postal votes after the cut-off date of April 22, and had promised to courier the final 270 out on Friday.

However, on Monday many people were still complaining that they had still not got their ballot papers through.

Residents new to the borough are also affected, like Amanda Fitzalan Howard who finds it “scandalous” she has lost her vote.

She received a letter in March stating that her application was on track, but discovered this week she is not on the electoral register.

She said: “On calling electoral services I have been told that they have had thousands of complaints and they blamed the new system. I was told that there was absolutely nothing I can do.”

Meanwhile, Anna Harte complained on Twitter: “My partner was only told yesterday that they need his passport. We registered in Feb!”

Becky Horsbrugh replied: “This seems to have been an issue for weeks and the council clearly not addressed it.”

Another residents, Claire Mason tweeted: “Failure of my borough’s infrastructure means that I have been… denied a vote.”

The council blamed the high number of postal vote applications – which stands at 28,000 – and the government’s new Individual Electoral Registration which meant that they had to cross-check every application with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), via a new online registration service.

A spokesman said: “In Hackney we had a very large number of people whose details didn’t match – and also people voting from their address for the first time, which meant they needed to register under IER.

“The problem has been getting the registration confirmation from the government and then processing the postal ballot application – all of which must be verified.”

BIRMINGHAM MAIL

There is still vote fraud in Brum, says John Hemming

MP who blew whistle on ‘banana republic’ postal vote rigging a decade ago says city still has a problem

John Hemming yardley liberal democrat mp
John Hemming

Ten years on from the postal vote fraud scandal which saw Birmingham’s political system likened to a ‘banana republic’ an MP says he is sure there is still election fraud today.

The city council election on June 10, 2004 was perhaps the darkest day in Birmingham’s political history as it marred by vote rigging on an industrial scale which left trust in the electoral system shattered.

Yardley Lib Dem MP John Hemming, together with his colleague barrister Ayoub Khan, brought the resulting postal vote fraud court cases which a year later lead to six inner-city Labour councillors being sacked and elections in Aston and Bordesley Green re-run.

High Court Judge Richard Mawrey QC, presiding over the election court, famously declared the fraud “would disgrace a banana republic,” after his election court found there was a campaign by Labour Party activists to forge, steal, and alter thousands of postal votes.

The extent of fraud was uncovered when police found candidates and supporters handling unsealed postal ballots in a deserted warehouse in Birch Road East, Aston during a late-night raid two days before the election.

Problems also became apparent when the number of postal votes rocketed from 28,000 in 2003 to 70,000 in 2004 – and witnesses saw people delivering bags full of ballot papers to polling stations and counts.

Although the regulations were tightened in the light of the case, particularly over candidates and supporters farming votes from residents, there are sill concerns over fraud.
Former Coun Ayoub Khan pictured on Priory Queensway in Birmingham city centreFormer Coun Ayoub Khan pictured on Priory Queensway in Birmingham city centre

Looking back, Mr Hemming said that while it is unlikely that fraud on that industrial scale is taking place, it does still happen in Birmingham.

He said: “There was a small amount of progress after the Election Court. But there is still vote fraud going on in this city. There are signs of it.”

He is convinced there is a problem with personation, where somebody goes to a polling station and gives the name of someone else, usually a known non-voter, and takes their ballot.

“You can go from polling station to polling station, an individual could vote 20 times like this. I am checking details of ten people we know who never vote but who are down as having voted.”

He argues that only by demanding a photo identification, as is required in Northern Ireland, that this problem could be eliminated.

He also believes there is some postal vote fraud, and during the last election campaign published a photo on his website of a single post box stuffed with ballots.

Of the six Labour councillors sacked in 2005, five, Shah Jahan, Shafaq Ahmed, Ayaz Khan, Mohammed Nazrul Islam and Mohammed Amin Kazi, have never returned to front line politics after serving their suspensions.

Only Muhammed Afzal successfully challenged the findings against him at the Court of Appeal. He returned to the council in 2007 and is now chairman of human resources.

Police arrest 15 in anti-austerity protest in London

Fifteen people, including a 16-year-old boy, were arrested following clashes with police during an anti-austerity protest close to Downing Street.

Officers in riot gear clashed with a “minority” of protesters who threw objects during the rally – which came after the Tory election victory.

Met Police said four police officers and a police staff member were injured.

A police investigation is also under way after graffiti referring to “Tory scum” was daubed on a war memorial.

Met Police said of the 15 arrested, 14 people been bailed pending further inquiries including a full review of CCTV footage and a 24-year-old man remains in custody after being arrested on suspicion of assault on police.

Lutfur Rahman could face a police investigation after his victory last May to become the directly-elected mayor of Tower Hamlets was declared void by a judge, who ruled he had “cynically perverted” the solidarity of Bangladeshi voters and made repeated claims of racism to silence critics.

Scotland Yard said last night senior officers were considering whether further enquiries should take place into Mr Rahman, who was told to immediately vacate his position and barred from standing in a fresh election ordered for the East End borough.

The dismissal of the 49-year-old represented vindication for four voters who had brought a rare petition to have an election overturned and faced vilification as well as a ruinous legal bill if they had lost.

Mr Rahman, a former Labour councillor who formed his own party, Tower Hamlets First (THF), to stand as mayor, was instead ordered to immediately pay £250,000 towards the £1m cost of the ten-week inquiry at London’s High Court.

In a withering judgment, Richard Mawrey QC, sitting as an Election Commissioner, said Mr Rahman had “driven a coach and horses through election law – and didn’t care”.

The judge said the former mayor, who was elected to a second term last year, had focused his electoral machine on the borough’s large Bangladeshi community – effectively bribing voters by targeting them with generous grants and using the influence of a senior cleric to tell Muslims it was their duty to vote for him.

DAILY MAIL COMMENT: A duty to the nation

Lately we’ve grown so used to stunning economic news that there’s a danger of seeing it as nothing out of the ordinary.

But let’s not forget it’s thanks to sound policies that two reports yesterday predicted robust growth in the second quarter, putting us on course for a world-beating performance over the year.

At this 11th hour, the Mail makes one final plea to Ukip sympathisers: don’t let your vote help Ed Miliband wreck the country we all love.

Miliband will bring back uncontrolled migration: Stark warning from Cameron as he urges Ukip voters not to hand Labour power

  • Cameron has issued to plea to Ukip voters not to allow Labour into power
  • He said that he understands people’s fears and worries’ about immigration
  • PM said votes for Ukip could halt Conservatives chance and may result in no referendum for Europe and with it a return to uncontrolled immigration

PENCILS USED TO VOTE.

When filling our forms in how many people used pencil? I did as that is what was provided by the polling office, I thought to myself at the time why use the one and only thing that is erasable? I am not the only one to think this. In 2012 a spokesperson from the Irish Department of the Environment told TheJournal.ie that pencils are “more sustainable and, above all, more reliable. In the event of the ballot papers getting wet before the count, pencil marks will remain. Pen marks may not.” But pencils can be erased therefore they are easier to manipulate whereas pens are impossible to remove and hide, I believe protecting the ballots from manipulation is more important than protecting them from water and I am also pretty sure most cheap pens would remain even if they do get wet.

MORE ON THE TOWER HAMLETS SCANDAL THAT ALSO INCLUDED THE DOCTORING OF POSTAL BALLOTS (ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HOW EASY IT SEEMS TO BE TO MANIPULATE VOTES)

Mr Mawrey said: “The evidence laid before this court has disclosed an alarming state of affairs in Tower Hamlets. This is not the consequence of the racial and religious mix of the population, nor is it linked to any ascertainable pattern of social or other deprivation. It is the result of the ruthless ambition of one man.”

The former mayor, who had denied the allegations against him as “invention” and “exaggeration”, said the judgment was  a “shock” and suggested he was considering seeking a judicial review of the findings. In a statement, THF said: “This result has been surprising to say the least.”

Mr Rahman, a solicitor specialising in family law, had emerged from the vexed politics of Tower Hamlets, where George Galloway’s Respect party scored a number of notable victories over Labour in the wake of the Iraq War, as an urbane and independent mayor after falling out with Labour himself in 2010.

But his critics complained that rather than uniting one of Britain’s most diverse boroughs, Mr Rahman had surrounded himself with a “clique” of THF councillors. Along with his allies, Mr Rahman was accused of securing a second term with the help of measures including the doctoring of postal ballots and intimidatory tactics on election day which left one young woman in tears.

Mr Mawrey said Mr Rahman, whom he described an “evasive” witness, was a man who “perceives racism everywhere” and along with his lieutenants had repeatedly used accusations of racial prejudice or Islamophobia as a stock response to criticism.

The judge found that the former mayor had run a “ruthless and dishonest” campaign to portray his Labour rival in 2014, John Biggs, as a racist and also worked “hand in glove” with the head of the borough’s council of mosques to ensure that Muslims were told they had a duty vote for Mr Rahman.

A key tool in Mr Rahman’s electoral armoury was “bribery by grant”, under which he and a small number of aides took control of deciding the sums to be donated to community groups, the judge found.

Mr Mawrey said grants were substantially increased for some groups in defiance of recommendations by Tower Hamlets’ officials and other grants, such as that to the Alzheimer’s Society, slashed to free up funds for previously ineligible recipients.  In one case, grants totalling £100,000 were handed out to ten Bangladeshi or other Muslim groups for lunch clubs when none had even applied for funding.

Noting that the “lion’s share” of grants went to Bangladeshi organisations, the  judge found: “The main thrust of Mr Rahman’s political campaigning… was to target the Bangladeshi community and to convince that community that loyalty to the community meant loyalty to him.”

The controversial mayor lost his powers over grants last year when Communities Secretary Eric Pickles sent in commissioners to take over a number of functions in Tower Hamlets council. Mr Pickles said yesterday’s judgment was a “vindication” of that decision.

Andy Erlam, one of the quartet of voters who brought the case and whose “exemplary courage” in doing so was praised by Mr Mawrey, said: “It is a fantastic result for democracy. There will have to be a new election for mayor. Mr Rahman cannot stand.”

A new ballot may be held as early as June.

One of Mr Rahman’s closest aides, Alibor Choudhury, was also found guilty of corruption and illegal practices.

Mr Mawrey said the case proved the need for those in authority to challenge wrongdoing even when there were concerns it could lead to counter-allegations of racism.

He said: “Mr Rahman and Mr Choudhury… spent a great deal of time accusing their opponents of ‘dividing the community’, but if anyone was ‘dividing the community’, it was they.”

The judgment: ‘ruthless ambition’

“The evidence laid before this court, limited though it necessarily was to the issues raised in the petition, has disclosed an alarming state of affairs in Tower Hamlets. This is not the consequence of the racial and religious mix of the population, nor is it linked to any ascertainable pattern of social or other deprivation. It is the result of the ruthless ambition of one man.

“The real losers in this case are the citizens of Tower Hamlets and, in particular, the Bangladeshi community. Their natural and laudable sense of solidarity has been cynically perverted into a sense of isolation and victimhood, and their devotion to their religion has been manipulated – all for the aggrandisement of Mr Rahman. The result has been to alienate them from the other communities in the borough and to create resentment… Mr Rahman and Mr Choudhury… spent a great deal of time accusing their opponents, especially Mr Biggs, of ‘dividing the community’ but, if anyone was ‘dividing the community’, it was they.

“The Bangladeshi community might have thought itself fortunate to have been the recipient of the mayor’s lavish spending but in the end the benefits were small and temporary and the ill effects long-lasting. It was fool’s gold.

“Central government has already had to intervene once, and, on 4 November 2014, the Secretary of State, Mr Eric Pickles, announced the appointment of commissioners to take over a number of functions of the mayor and council, particularly in relation to grants. It is obviously not for this court to… recommend any further course of action but it seems likely that the governance of this borough will have to be examined in the not too distant future.

“On past form, it appears inevitable that Mr Rahman will denounce this judgment as yet another example of the racism and Islamophobia that have hounded him throughout his political life. It is nothing of the sort. Mr Rahman has made a successful career by ignoring or flouting the law (as this petition demonstrates) and has relied on silencing his critics by accusations of racism and Islamophobia. But his critics have not been silenced and neither has this court.

“Events of recent months in contexts very different from electoral malpractice have starkly demonstrated what happens when those in authority are afraid to confront wrongdoing for fear of allegations of racism and Islamophobia.  The law must be applied fairly and equally to everyone. Otherwise we are lost.”

TWEETS FROM #THANETRIGGED

Do they expect us to believe that so many people vote for UKIP but won’t vote for the party leader in General Election?

So @UKIP have controll over Thanet council but no UKIP MP? Thers a rabbit away if you ask me.

Counting at South Thanet should have started at 2am latest. It started at 8:30am – 7.5 hrs later

In light of what has happened the Tory MP in South Thanet should trigger a by election if he has got any decency.

Is there any where else where UKIP’s MP candidate got half the votes as the council candidates?

Kent Police reject claims of electoral fraud in South Thanet where Farage failed to become an MP

  • Tory Craig Mackinley beat Ukip leader Nigel Farage by 2,800 votes
  • Ukip supporters claimed the result was rigged after party won council
  • But Kent Police said initial inquiries suggested there is ‘no evidence’

Police have rejected conspiracy theorist claims that the election in South Thanet was rigged to stop Nigel Farage becoming an MP.

Tory candidate Craig Mackinlay won the seat in Thursday’s election, beating the Ukip leader by 2,800 votes.

The margin of the Tory win sparked claims that the result had been fixed, but Kent Police today said that ‘initial inquiries’ suggest there is ‘no evidence’ of electoral fraud.

Anti-rigging campaigners have alerted Scottish election officials of a possible general election fix targeting the SNP. They are calling on voters to photograph their ballot papers for verification.

#PeopleNOTpolls: Join the conversation

The pro-independence campaigners, who believe last year’s referendum was rigged, are eager to avoid any alleged repeat during the general election.

Police and election officials categorized the allegations in the “context of conspiracy theories after the referendum.”

The Scottish National Party (SNP) are “at high risk” of being victimized by an election fix, campaigners say.

The anti-rigging campaign, named Operation Scallop, is using its name as hashtag to teach people on social media how to vote “safely.”

To prevent ballot papers from being tampered with, they have shared an image on Twitter containing a list of instructions for voters to abide by.

When talking about electoral fraud the postal vote is usually mentioned too!

Judge upholds vote-rigging claims

(From L to R): Mohammed Kazi, Muhammed Afzal, Mohammed Islam

The councillors deny the allegations

A judge investigating vote-rigging in Birmingham’s local elections has ruled there was widespread fraud and has ordered new elections.Election Commissioner Richard Mawrey QC upheld allegations of postal fraud relating to six seats won by Labour in the ballot of 10 June last year.

The results have been declared void and the polls in two wards must be rerun.

“The system is wide open to fraud and any would-be political fraudster knows that,” Judge Mawrey said.

There is every likelihood that the forthcoming general election will be blighted by postal vote fraud
People’s Justice Party spokesman

Judge Mawrey said evidence of “massive, systematic and organised fraud” in the campaign had made a mockery of the election and ruled that not less than 1,500 votes had been cast fraudulently in the city.

The deputy high court judge said the system was “hopelessly insecure” and expressed regret that recent warnings about the failings had been dismissed by the government as “scaremongering”.

He criticised the government’s insistence that the current postal voting system was working, adding: “Anybody who has sat through the case I have just tried and listened to evidence of electoral fraud that would disgrace a banana republic would find this statement surprising.”

Postal voting

Mr Mawrey had heard petitions lodged against six Labour councillors, who all strenuously deny that they abused the postal ballot system.

The first petition was brought by the People’s Justice Party (PJP) against three representatives of the Bordesley Green ward, Shafaq Ahmed, Shah Jahan and Ayaz Khan.

They walked out of last month’s hearing on the first day after Judge Mawrey refused an application for an adjournment to allow them further time to prepare their case.

The second petition was raised by Liberal Democrat supporters against three Aston representatives, Mohammed Islam, Muhammed Afzal and Mohammed Kazi.

Unsealed ballots

During the hearings, which were held at the Birmingham and Midland Institute and lasted four weeks, Judge Mawrey heard how the trio were caught operating a “vote-rigging factory”.

The police described how they found Mr Islam, Mr Afzal and Mr Kazi handling unsealed postal ballots in a deserted warehouse in the city.

The warehouse at the centre of the allegations

The Aston councillors were found counting votes at a warehouse

The petitioners also accused the city’s returning officer and chief executive Lin Homer of failing to discharge her duties in accordance with electoral law.

Judge Mawrey said that Ms Homer “threw the rule book out of the window” to deal with overwhelming numbers of postal vote application forms received.

Solicitor Chaman Salhan, who represents two of the councillors, said the men had not been given enough time to prepare their defence.

“They are victims of circumstance – in effect we have had a criminal trial under civil procedures,” Mr Salhan said.

Urgent action

West Midlands Police told BBC News that they were currently not pursuing a criminal inquiry.

A spokesman for the force said: “We will review the judgement and see if any issues need to be addressed. Nothing relating to the case is in progress at the moment.”

Speaking outside court, a spokesman for the People’s Justice Party called for postal voting to be outlawed at the general election.

“The commissioner has confirmed our fear that there is every likelihood that the forthcoming general election will be blighted by postal vote fraud,” he said.

The Electoral Reform Society said urgent action was needed to protect and maintain confidence in the voting system.

Mr Mawrey ordered that none of the six councillors be allowed to stand for the vacant seats at the next election.

EASTBOURNE appeared to be a safe seat for the Lib Dems in Lord Ashcroft poll in September 2014.

Police across the UK have been asked to investigate more than 50 allegations of electoral fraud related to Thursday’s elections in areas previously identified as vulnerable to vote-rigging, new figures show.

Officers in Manchester, Bradford, London and Birmingham have begun inquiries after receiving complaints about “ghost” voters, false statements by candidates and multiple attempts to vote by a single person.

WAS LABOUR REALLY THAT BAD OR WAS THE ELECTION RIGGED FROM THE START?

WAS LABOUR REALLY THAT BAD OR WAS THE ELECTION RIGGED FROM THE START?

The Scottish National Party taken nearly every seat in Scotland and they were at least at the start of the campaign much more to the left than Labour, but the Scottish National Party have an advantage, people in Scotland trust them and obviously feel represented by them. After the war in Iraq, the bank bail out and the Labour parties failure to represent “the left wing or the poor” in the past, the masses in England still feel that Labour are not a real alternative to the Conservatives. I am not saying they are exactly the same but when in power Labour were not that different. Labour also turned a blind eye to corporate tax evasion and made deals with news corporation. Having said that I still cannot believe the Tories won, which got me reading and it turns out that 1992 election was very similar, a “late surge of Tory support undetected by the polls” led to a Conservative majority as Wikipedia describes;

‘RIGGED UK GENERAL ELECTION’ – MAY 2015

THE BRITISH PEOPLE = COWARDLY, SELFISH, CORPORATE MEDIA DIRECTED FOOLS?

Upon first hearing the general election results, I was speechless, how can so many people in Britain vote a man that attacks freedom of speech, the poor, the disabled, pays for Facebook likes and enforces austerity tactics on to the poor while giving tax breaks to the rich? One word, fear! Voters are terrified it may cost them something. As if that is not bad enough the mainstream media spend all their time and effort on spreading fear, cementing that belief in to the minds of their audience. Newspapers like The Sun, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph and the Daily Star were at time shockingly blatant and one sided, we have come the expect it Britain, we all know its happening the Leveson inquiry exposed it but failed to stop it. I believe its time for an inquiry into government inquiries and why government inquiries always fail to change anything.

The actions of the media throughout the whole of the election was disgusting and something should be done to prevent the media being so ridiculously one sided while anti government activists and bloggers are censored from social media and accused of selling fear.

Having said that it is up to the voters to actually look at the damage that these right winged extreme governments do when we hand the power, they damage families, welfare, the health service and even the future of our children. How can you vote a man that did his best to avoid TV debates? a man that governed us through the rise of foodbank? a political party that can’t stand the NHS? they cut disability allowance but not Banker Bonuses despite the fact it is the banks that caused the financial meltdown that left them needed a bail out not the disabled and not the poor.

UKIP gain one seat 0.2% of seats DESPITE winning 12.6%  of the vote, I am no UKIP fan but the voting system is obviously massively flawed to allow that. David Cameron has a small majority, smaller than that of John Major and look what happened to him.

The trouble is, I fear the British media would not allow any real change to take place but I also believe the British media is losing control slowly but surely, until they lose control of the mind of the masses, right winged extremist governments that implement unjust laws, tax the poor the feed the rich and greed and give tax breaks to multinational corporations will carry on governing us and the corporate media will carry on telling you “everything is OK.”

WHY DO PEOPLE VOTE FOR THE CONSERVATIVES?

Looking at the polls to the general election amazes and shocks me, despite the Conservatives doing such of a terrible job on “governing the country” over the last five years there is still a chance they could win the election! In the last five years Britain has seen rioting, the rise of food bank, zero hour contracts, a war in Libya that led to Libya migrants being washed up at coastlines in Italy and Libya, internet censorship and MPs claiming £40 pound for breakfast and then telling us they could live on £53 per week (the amount of money a single person gets on Job Seekers Allowance.) Deals between media and the government that served the interest of both but not the people and unregulated bailed out banks continuing to pay huge bonuses. The Conservatives have lowered expectations of politicians and politics, there greed is shocking and disgusting and it matches their hypocrisy, double standards and ignorance almost perfectly. The newspapers claim they are speaking for “the people” but like the government the newspapers are biased, they like their tax breaks, they don’t want to lose them to some “left wing” government, when they say “Save Britain” they mean “Save us, from paying tax again.”

As pointed out by a member of the audience on the TV debate David Cameron tried so hard to avoid, the only thing the Conservative government seem to care about is “money, economic growth, profit” they have no humanity whatsoever, they care very little for the poor and weak and people that can not help but claim benefits are made feel like scroungers and lowlifes whereas well paid politicians live in obscene luxury pointing their fingers.

I am not saying “vote Labour” or “the Red Tories” as the Scottish correctly call them, I am just saying; How do a political party that represent 1% of the nation end up with over 30% of the vote? Propaganda as usual, the mainstream media is the voice of the corporations, the elite and the government.

But so far considering that cutting Britain’s deficit was the “main priority” of the Conservative party and fixing the economy was so essential it involved our government having to make “hard decisions” like cutting disability allowance, benefits and public services yet the economy is still far from fixed despite these drastic actions. Not every decision was a “hard decision” like the decision to cut the top rate of tax, the decision not to regulate banks and of course the easy decisions to not condemn Israel and to allow corporations to contribute almost no tax.

CANNABIS, THE EVIL DRUG?

CNN documentary on Charlotte’s Web, medical marijuana treating seizure disorders

The strand is called Charlotte’s Web, after the young child, Charlotte Figi, who’s life was saved by this cannabis oil.

Is Marijuana Harmful to Health?

Published on Apr 19, 2014

There’s just no way to talk about marijuana without someone completely misinterpreting what I say. Some of you are going to call me a fascist for saying anything bad about pot. Others are going to attack me for not coming down on it hard enough. But the truth of the matter is that many things that are far more dangerous than pot are totally legal in this country. That’s not my opinion, it’s what scientific studies show us. No one is saying marijuana is totally safe. But is it so bad for you that it should be illegal, even though it has benefits? Watch and decide. Happy weed day.

And, yes, we do know about the new study on brain development, which came out long after we taped. But as with a lot of research, it’s being totally misinterpreted by the media. Go check out the references to see a nice article where the author of the study says the same thing.

ARE THE SCOTTISH NATIONAL PARTY A DANGER TO THE FUTURE OF BRITAIN?

Anyone that reads the newspapers would surely have noticed the British media attacking the SCOTTISH NATIONAL PARTY or the SNP as they are more commonly called. Some polls are forecasting a Labour victory but the Labour government may have to be “propped up” by the SNP and other small left wing governments, this is being spoken about like its a threat to the future of Britain by the vast majority of the biased British media.

John Major used the word mayhem to describe what a Labour, SNP coalition would be like, he should know.

At the 1993 Conservative Party Conference, Major began the “Back to Basics” campaign, which he intended to also be about a wide variety of issues including the economy, education and policing, but which was interpreted by many (including Conservative cabinet ministers) purely in the context of returning to the moral and family values that they associated with the Conservative Party.

“Back to Basics” became synonymous with scandal, often exposed in lurid and embarrassing detail by tabloid newspapers such as The Sun. In 1992, David Mellor, a cabinet minister, had been exposed as having an extramarital affair and for accepting hospitality from the daughter of a leading member of the Palestine Liberation Organization. The wife of the Earl of Caithness committed suicide amongst rumours of the Earl committing adultery. Stephen Milligan was found dead having apparently auto-asphyxiated whilst performing a solitary sex act (his Eastleigh seat was lost in what was to be an ongoing stream of hefty by-election defeats). David Ashby was “outed” by his wife after sleeping with men.  A string of other Conservative MPs, including Alan Amos, Tim Yeo, and Michael Brown, were involved in sexual scandals.

Other debilitating scandals included “Arms to Iraq” – the ongoing inquiry into how government ministers including Alan Clark (also involved in an unrelated scandal involving the revelation of his affair with the wife and both daughters of a South African judge) had encouraged businesses to supply arms to Iraq during the Iran-Iraq War of the 1980s, in breach of the official arms embargo, and how senior ministers had, on legal advice, attempted to withhold evidence of this official connivance when directors of Matrix Churchill were put on trial for breaking the embargo.

Another scandal was “Cash for Questions“, in which first Graham Riddick, and David Tredinnick accepted money to ask questions in the House of Commons in a newspaper “sting”, and later Tim Smith and Neil Hamilton were found to have received money from Mohamed Al Fayed, also to ask questions in the House. Later, David Willetts resigned as Paymaster General after he was accused of rigging evidence to do with Cash for Questions.

WOULD THE SNP DESTROY BRITAIN?

The media claim that the SNP could destroy Britain’s economy, the trouble is we are already in one and half trillion pound debt! The SNP are in no way responsible for that. Austerity has and is failing, the Conservative government have squeezed the poorer classes dry while cutting taxes for billionaires and ignoring corporate tax evasion and the corruption within the banks of Britain.

What our leading political parties do not want to admit is the success of parties like SNP and UKIP is not necessarily based on people liking these parties its based on people being sick of the lies, propaganda, cover ups and scandals that goes on within our government and corporate media. Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP are right in one thing, there is no point in voting out a Conservative government to replace with a slightly less Conservative government that calls itself Labour.

BRITISH AND AMERICAN GOVERNMENT’S ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR LIBYAN MIGRANT DEATHS?

On the 20th October 2011 Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi more commonly known as Colonel Gaddafi was killed and the Libyan people were freed of an oppressive dictatorship. The oppressive dictatorship of Gaddafi offered free health care, government grants for marriage and children and a free education system that put Libya top of the literacy league tables in the whole of Africa. The oppressive dictatorship of Gaddafi also left Libya with a national debt of between zero and five billion pound depending on what source you use compared to Britain’s debt of one and half trillion pound and America’s 18 trillion dollars, Libya had state owned banks therefore the Libya government controlled the banks this allowed Libya to print interest free money unlike Britain and USA there banks are essentially corporations that charge huge interest on printed money that is at least part of the reason that so many countries have huge deficits.

Team Great Britain and USA to the rescue “we will free the Libyan people” David Cameron told the British TV audience and as usual we lapped it up, “people are dying in the streets” David Cameron said. The disgusting British media celebrated his death “that’s for Lockerbie” Rupert Murdoch’s Zionist loving and propagating the Sun newspaper declared. “The people of Libya are saved” we were told, than Libya disappears from the news completely not a mention.

Weeks before the general election 2015 in Britain and the Libyan war comes back to remind us of the impact that governments in Britain and USA have on the world as hundreds of migrants drowned in a desperate attempt to flee recently liberated Libya.

The British voter and taxpayer should be asking a few questions about the Libyan migrants drowning, questions that the mainstream media will completely ignore as they will be too busy talking about some celebrities private life or rating how good celebrities look in bikini’s or something along those lines.

How bad of a state is Libya since the “liberation of the Libyan people” and the death of an “evil and cowardly” dictator as described by the British media for people of Libya that have families and children to even consider getting on one of them boats?

How much to blame are our elected government’s that insisted the Libyan war was a humanitarian mission?

Would this be happening if Great Britain, USA and NATO stayed out of Libya?

Were people ever this desperate to escape Libya under Gaddafi? Have we just taken the treasure and ran?

Independence, Kingdom of Libya and Libya under Gaddafi

King Idris I led the country into independence in 1951 and became its first head of state
On 24 December 1951, Libya declared its independence as the United Kingdom of Libya, a constitutional and hereditary monarchy under King Idris, Libya’s only monarch. The discovery of significant oil reserves in 1959 and the subsequent income from petroleum sales enabled one of the world’s poorest nations to establish an extremely wealthy state. Although oil drastically improved the Libyan government’s finances, resentment among some factions began to build over the increased concentration of the nation’s wealth in the hands of King Idris.[citation needed]
Gaddafi (left) with Egyptian President Nasser in 1969.

On 1 September 1969, a small group of military officers led by 27-year-old army officer Muammar Gaddafi staged a coup d’état against King Idris, launching the Al Fateh Revolution.[49] Gaddafi was referred to as the “Brother Leader and Guide of the Revolution” in government statements and the official Libyan press.[50]

On 2 March 1977, Libya officially became the “Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya”. Gaddafi officially passed power to the General People’s Committees and henceforth claimed to be no more than a symbolic figurehead.[51] Dissidence against the new system was not tolerated. At around the same time the Jamahiriya was established, Gaddafi authorized the execution of twenty-two officers who had participated in a 1975 attempted military coup, in addition to the execution of several civilians.[52] The new “jamahiriya” governance structure he established was officially referred to as “direct democracy”,[53] though the government refused to publish election results.[54]

Libya’s system of governance during the Jamahiriya era was based on Gaddafi’s theories outlined in his The Green Book, published in 1975. Under the Jamahiriya system, political issues for debate were raised at local level around the country, convened by any one of about 2,000 local “people’s committees”. The committees would then pass their votes to a central general committee formed by elected members, where votes at the local congresses would finally influence the outcomes of national decisions.[55]

In February 1977, Libya started delivering military supplies to Goukouni Oueddei and the People’s Armed Forces in Chad. The Chadian–Libyan conflict began in earnest when Libya’s support of rebel forces in northern Chad escalated into an invasion. Later that same year, Libya and Egypt fought a four-day border war that came to be known as the Libyan-Egyptian War, both nations agreed to a ceasefire under the mediation of the Algerian president Houari Boumediène.[56] Hundreds of Libyans lost their lives in the war against Tanzania, when Gaddafi tried to save his friend Idi Amin. Gaddafi financed various other groups from anti-nuclear movements to Australian trade unions.[57]

From 1977 onward, per capita income in the country rose to more than US $11,000, the fifth-highest in Africa,[58] while the Human Development Index became the highest in Africa and greater than that of Saudi Arabia.[59] This was achieved without borrowing any foreign loans, keeping Libya debt-free.[60] The Great Manmade River was also built to allow free access to fresh water across large parts of the country.[59] In addition, financial support was provided for university scholarships and employment programs.[61]

Much of the country’s income from oil, which soared in the 1970s, was spent on arms purchases and on sponsoring dozens of paramilitaries and terrorist groups around the world.[62][63][64]An American airstrike failed to kill Gaddafi in 1986. Libya was finally put under United Nations sanctions after the bombing of a commercial flight killed hundreds of travellers.[65]

Muammar Gaddafigained power in a 1969 coup and was “leader of the revolution” until his overthrow in 2011

A gathering of more than 200 African kings and traditional rulers, meeting on 27 August 2008 in the Libyan town of Benghazi, conferred on Colonel Gaddafi the title “King of Kings of Africa”. Sheikh Abdilmajid of Tanzania said traditional rulers were more influential in Africa than their respective governments.[66]

2011 Civil War

Demonstrations in Bayda on 22 July 2011

After the Arab Spring movements overturned the rulers of Tunisia and Egypt, Libya experienced a full-scale revolt beginning on 17 February 2011.[67] By 20 February, the unrest had spread to Tripoli. On 27 February 2011, the National Transitional Council was established to administer the areas of Libya under rebel control. On 10 March 2011, France became the first state to officially recognise the council as the legitimate representative of the Libyan people.[68][69]

Pro-Gaddafi forces were able to respond militarily to rebel pushes in Western Libya and launched a counterattack along the coast toward Benghazi, the de facto centre of the uprising.[70] The town of Zawiya, 48 kilometres (30 mi) from Tripoli, was bombarded by air force planes and army tanks and seized by Jamahiriya troops, “exercising a level of brutality not yet seen in the conflict.”[71]

Organs of the United Nations, including United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon[72] and the United Nations Human Rights Council, condemned the crackdown as violating international law, with the latter body expelling Libya outright in an unprecedented action urged by Libya’s own delegation to the UN.[73][74]

On 17 March 2011 the UN Security Council passed Resolution 1973,[75] with a 10–0 vote and five abstentions including Russia, China and Germany. The resolution sanctioned the establishment of a no-fly zone and the use of “all means necessary” to protect civilians within Libya.[76] On 19 March, the first act of NATO allies to secure the no-fly zone by destroying Libyan air defences began when French military jets entered Libyan airspace on a reconnaissance mission heralding attacks on enemy targets.[77] In the weeks that followed, American forces were in the forefront of NATO operations against Libya. More than 8,000 American personnel in warships and aircraft were deployed in the area. At least 3,000 targets were struck in 14,202 strike sorties, 716 of them in Tripoli and 492 in Brega.[78] The American air offensive included flights of B-2 Stealth bombers, each bomber armed with sixteen 2000-pound bombs, flying out of and returning to their base in Missouri on the continental United States.[79] Clearly the support provided by the NATO airforces was pivotal in the ultimate success of the revolution.[80]

By 22 August 2011, rebel fighters had entered Tripoli and occupied Green Square,[81] which they renamed Martyrs’ Square in honour of those killed since 17 February 2011. On 20 October 2011 the last heavy fighting of the uprising came to an end in the city of Sirte, where Gadhafi was captured and killed. The defeat of loyalist forces was celebrated on 23 October 2011, three days after the fall of Sirte.

At least 30,000 Libyans died in the civil war.[82]

Are all UK political parties the same?
Theresa May on Human right laws.

If the Daily Mail was honest.
Nigel Farage: I have never taken drugs but they should be legal.

The Ukip leader says he has never taken drugs himself but that he believes the ‘time has come’ for legalizing ‘certain drugs’

He also said the war on drugs was lost years ago. For once I actually agree with him, making criminals out of drug addicts or experimenters is not the right thing to do, its lazy, judgmental and it doesn’t work, society proves it.

GENERAL ELECTION 2015, THIS IS CHOICE, THIS IS FREEDOM.

To be honest I have stopped watching the “news” the last few days, why? Because I am sick of listening and watching bullshit, fear mongering, propaganda, fake smiling and more bullshit that the general election brings. The general election of 2015 so far has been a pointless, barrage of insults, stats and promises that the political parties are not even legally obligated to follow upon if they should win the election. The truth is it doesn’t matter who wins, we have no real choice, the four main parties are pretty much the same, they may slightly differ in policies, they cut a bit here and raise a bit there but they have a lot more in common with each other than they like to admit.

All four parties support Israel despite blatant war crimes and terror acts that our government claim to be against yet none of the four parties will condemn the Israeli governments actions, all four parties are elitist parties they are funded for by the rich and therefore they work for the rich, all four parties say they plan to cut the deficit yet none of the parties talk about addressing how the fuck Britain gets itself into one and half trillion pound debt in the first place, either Britain is being seriously ripped off or extremely poorly governed or both. “Its Labours fault” the Conservatives claimed “It’s the Tories” Labour respond, for a change they are both right. All four parties were involved in the MPs expenses scandal, Nigel Farage claimed two million in one year alone, David Cameron paid for a second home on his expenses and Nick Clegg paid for garden maintenance on his expenses and he actually spent £84000 in expenses in four years on his second home alone, these scandals were “all within the rules” but were they within the law? Despite scandals like this all four parties scrutinize benefit claimers and punish them with prison for over-claiming. None of the parties are talking about getting tough on the banks with regulation, Labour have mentioned it but Labour also began the bank bailout and failed to enforce more regulation as part of the terms of the bailout, not that the Tories would have enforced more regulation because according to David Cameron “over regulating the banks could affect their performance!” HELLO DAVID CAMERON, PLANET EARTH CALLING, THE BANKS GREED, LACK OF REGULATION AND POOR PERFORMANCE IS WHAT LEAD TO THEM NEEDING A BAIL OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

No mention of corporate tax avoidance, all of the big four address corporate tax evasion as a minor problem despite the fact that corporate tax evasion costs Britain’s government billions of pounds every year. They all support the war on terror but again they fail to address real issues, the British and American governments have left Libya in such a state that Libyans are risking their lives and their families’ lives to flee the country, would Libya be in this condition if Gaddafi was still ruling? Britain, Israel and America are fuelling the ISIS fire and if Libya, Iraq, Iran, Syria and other Muslim nations do have religious extremist groups looking to recruit frustrated and angry young men, surely our aggressive, imperialistic, war mongering tactics are making it much easier for these religious extremist groups to recruit.

The election is being fought with gimmicks, propaganda and insults. Important subjects are barely discussed and fresh ideas are non-existent, Green party do offer an apparent alternative but unfortunately for them and many of the lesser known parties they do not have corporate media behind them printing one sided, propaganda, some of the British media acts like a Conservative Party Public Relation Agency with the propaganda they print.

RIGHT WINGERS MAKE ME LAUGH.

bnp_in_it_together_2_1

Great Britain and the USA are governed by right winged governments because of this the youth of our nations are indoctrinated to think with a right winged mentality. Our newspapers are right winged as are our T.V channels and nearly all media. Useless, lanky, racist pricks like Jeremy Clarkson spew pure racism at their audiences, but what happens when we disagree with these right winged extremists that only care about money and control? What happens is we are called extremists! This is pretty typical of the right wing as the right wing are intolerant of anything, everything and anyone that does not think the same way they think.

Another thing that I do not understand about right wingers is the fact that left wingers are called sissy’s, pussy’s, wimps or anything that they can call people to make them feel inferior to themselves. The truth is left wingers are not the people that want to give extra power to the police, the government and the establishment, for me that makes the right wingers the real sissy’s, just because right wingers are so stupid, sissy like and weak that they can not look after themselves does not mean that all people in the country should have to pay the price. Right wingers are leading us into a police state and maybe even a UKIP and Tory coalition, this is mainly because right wingers do not seem to have the intelligence or the political awareness to see that their small, hate filled, tiny little minds are being used as psychological weapons by the establishment to hand themselves more power.

In my experience of right winged minded people they are usually more violent and sometimes even thuggish, EDL, National Front, KKK and the worst of them all UKIP and Conservatives. Right wingers use the right winged media to attack minorities and control who ever is stupid enough to allow themselves and their minds to be controlled. UKIP and Conservatives and even Labour and Lib Dems nowadays are all right winged, interfering, control freaks, they claim not to be racist but they actually depend on our subliminal and indoctrinated racism. Without this subliminal and indoctrinated racism right winged governments are doomed to fail, because without this subliminal and indoctrinated racism, how could  governments and political parties justify wars, exploitation and murder around the world?

So next time you see a small minded, skin headed idiot wearing the St Georges flag angrily raving on about the fact that Britain is full of dangerous, Islamic, extremists that have no right to be here, remember that these people are stupid, sissy’s that can not fight their own battles, (and no, I would not say it to their faces, I would probably end up with a fractured skull if I did!)  so instead of fighting their own battles they want the government and police to fight them for them.

The BRIT AWARDS OR THE SHIT AWARDS?

The Brit awards an awards ceremony in Britain that claims to recognize and award the best music and musicians in Britain and even worldwide. I cannot comment on all the music that won awards as I do not listen to most modern day shit but I did notice that commercial, brain-dead garbage One direction won an award for best video with the video to You and I. The only way I can ever see or imagine One Direction making a video that deserves to win an award or even to be viewed by me and take up 5 minutes of my life is if that video was showing the people involved in One Direction having their tongues cut out, so they can never hurt us with that horrible noise again.

I stopped watching the Brit Awards when I was about 15 years old because it was boring then, but nowadays it is even worse, I do kind of regret watching Madonna make a complete fool out of herself, falling off the stage when performing her satanic/pagan ritual based performance.

When reading the winners and the performers I could not help but ask myself is this really the best music that Britain or the world has to offer? British music has become boring, corporations that control the radio channels and the T.V channels have saturated the market including the TV and Radio channels with horrible, pop music that sounds like it is made for 10 year old girls.

Music is so fake nowadays and so are most of the musicians, British music is not the only music to suffer American music is even worse and American Musicians are even more fake than British Musicians, this is a shame as America has like Britain produced some amazing music over the years.

It seems to me that everything corporations get their hands on they destroy, they destroy our food with G.M ingredients, chemical flavor enhancers, preservatives and artificial sweeteners, most corporate food taste like shit and is full of shit! Corporations destroy our local markets and businesses, they destroy the lives of the people that are unfortunate enough to be exploited by the greed of these businesses, they fail to pay fair wages, fair tax amounts and have very limited competition, and now they are destroying our music and replacing it with soulless, meaningless, nonsense, pretty boys and fame whores.

The Soul Travelers – Michael Wynn – Full Length Documentary

http://www.hollywoodinsiders.net
http://www.wearechangetv.us – Support Independent Media

Michael Wynn’s “The Soul Travelers” reveals the truth about mythology, the spirit world, magic, Satanism, and the Illuminati. This documentary reviews repeating themes in mythology and tales of ancient man. Then the video discusses the details of the spirit world, chakras, demons, and angels. It continues by delving into the details of magic, the occult, and Satanic Illuminati symbolism. The Soul Travelers is surely among the most revealing documentaries on the subject of magic and the occult, as it takes a revisionist look at the symbols of secret societies like the Freemasons. It concludes by examining the characters like Satan, Jesus, Babylon, and more from the perspective of the occult.

Megiddo II The New Age

The Lie of the Serpent is the second part of the controversial Megiddo series, which next focuses on the highly influential New Age movement. But is the New Age really new? Or does it represent the ancient doctrine taught by the serpent to Eve in the Garden of Eden? The answer will startle and amaze you as you learn the influence of the serpent’s teaching through the spiritual explosion of occult activity in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Some of the greatest and most recognized people of the modern era (including Charles Darwin, Thomas Edison, Adolf Hitler and Hillary Clinton) have been influenced by the movement that has re-awakened mankind’s communication with the spirit realm, and re-shaped the Western view of God and His relationship to mankind. What are the implications of this “paradigm shift” that seeks to introduce a new global consciousness? Will this new consciousness really bring mankind into the dawning of a golden era? Or the awakening of another dark age?

Full of highly detailed research and exhaustive documentation, Megiddo II challenges even the most skeptical viewer to consider the consequence of the global awakening taking place before our very eyes.

Join speakers Dave Hunt, Caryl Matrisciana, Dr. Kent Hovind, Pastor Joe Schimmel, and Dr. Stan Monteith who expose the movement that seeks to unite mankind in a one-world religion through the United Nations.

Global adherents claim to await a “universal Christ” to lead the world. What happens to those who will not follow this world leader? And are there sinister warnings against those who refuse to be “initiated” into the New Age?

2015 DOCUMENTARY, MOVIE BY WOLVOMAN80.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I FEEL THE URGE TO VOTE.

vote_ballot

2015 and here comes another general election, it is the time that David Cameron changes from a war mongering, greedy, dissociated snob into a lovely, caring, smiling man that gran loves. He will use his well spoken tone to give the impression that he is not a war mongering, greedy, dissociated snob, unfortunately for him we know the truth. He will listen and pretend to give a fuck and claim is plan is about to show some positive results. Lower petrol prices and a slightly improved economy have come at a very convenient time, the question is are people really stupid enough to fall for even more lies from a well established and well known liar? If a poor person not voting is a vote for the Tories, the other and more important question is who do you vote for?

VOTE UKIP.

Privatize NHS, more tax cuts for rich, huge supporters of Israel. Racist and do not represent the poor. No thanks.

VOTE CONSERVATIVE.

Privatize NHS, tax cuts for the rich, huge supporters of Israel. Snobbish and do not represent the poor. No Thanks.

VOTE LIB DEMS.

Nick Clegg once stated in a conversation with David Cameron down a microphone he did not know was turned on “it had supposed to be a T.V debate but I can’t find anything to disagree on” No Thanks.

VOTE LABOUR.

Tony Blair was merely a corporate puppet and Gordon Brown began the bank bail out. Not much is known on what Ed Miliband will actually do or what his policies are, he is a huge supporter of Israel and he has the easiest job in the world, take the piss out of David Cameron ridiculous performance so far. He is depending on people hating David Cameron and Nigel Farage enough to vote for him, they probably do hate David Cameron and Nigel Farage enough to vote him but how different to David Cameron and Nigel Farage is Ed Miliband? No Thanks.

VOTE BNP.

If I was going to vote BNP I would switch my vote to UKIP, they are almost the same. No thanks.

VOTE GREEN PARTY.

I am considering voting the Green party, not because I feel the Green party perfectly represents me but just because nobody else even comes close to representing me. The trouble the Green Party are going to have is airtime. BBC constantly speaks about the big four, lame and cringe worthy publicity stunts that are only worth watching if something goes wrong take over the news and the papers. Where as less popular parties like the Green Party are almost completely ignored by the mainstream media, a fair election requires much more airtime to less well known parties. If lobbying was banned or capped at £1000 this would prevent political parties like the Conservatives, UKIP, and even Labour from taking huge sums of money from rich individuals. That money is used to pay from political campaigns, airtime, positive media and irritating political posters, scattered around our city centers. Government graffiti.

Below is a list of all political parties in the UK. What is the point of having all this choice if mainstream media will only focus of three or four parties?
